Please note
Tours are guided in German and Italian only
This website is available in English, but the guides lead the tours in German and Italian. There is no English tour. You are very welcome to join — the way through the adit is the same for everyone, and the guides will help where they can — but the explanations will not be in English. Written information in English is available at the entrance.
Four ways into the mountain
One main tour, one long round and two special tours for anyone who wants to know more. Prices are those of the current season; the association has yet to confirm them for 2027.

What is different here
Good to knowNo train, no station
Here you walk into the mountain — through adits that were cut by hand. A miner advanced about four centimetres a day that way.
Up to 18 they pay five euros
Not up to 15, not up to 16. Up to eighteen. Children under six come along free.
You can book, but you do not have to
For the St Elisabeth adit it is enough to be there ten minutes before the tour. The long round and the special tours require registration.
The name of the show adit is old, by the way: „St. Elisabeth“ already appears in the Fugger contracts of the 16th century.
Mit der my summercard und vergleichbaren Gästekarten ist der Eintritt reduziert. Bring die Karte mit, wir verrechnen das vor Ort.

This is not a guided tour, this is a caving trip. Along the way people who know the trade explain how silver was won here. Water seeps from the rock and drips from the roof, the air is almost saturated, and you will certainly get wet.
